Public Notices - NOTICE OF BASIS OF ELECTION WAIMAIRI DISTRICT COUNCIL PURSUANT to the provisions of the "Local Government Amendment Act 1985,” public notice is hereby given that the Waimairl District Council has passed the following resolutions governing the basis of the 1986 triennial election of the Council: 1. That the present number of six ridings remain for the 1986 election, namely the Avonhead, Belfast, Fendalton, Papanul, Styx and Walrakei Ridings. 2. That the present number of members to be elected by the electors of each riding be retained for the 1986 election, namely Avonhead Riding, 3 members, Belfast Riding, I member, Fendalton Riding, 3 members, Papanul Riding, 2 members, Styx Riding, 1 member and Walrakei Riding, 3 members. 3.
