Applicants must hold appropriate higher qualifications for the position and be registrable in New Zealand. Waikato Hospital is a 900 bed base hospital with a highly developed laboratory and clinical haematology service. The hospital is also a regional transfusion centre and haemophilia centre. WAIKATO HOSPITAL BOARD ROTORUA HOSPITAL ASSISTANT CHARGE PHYSIOTHERAPIST THIS is a permanent, fulltime position as an AssistantCharge Physiotherapist at Rotorua Hospital. Applicants must possess the qualifications recognised by the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board for registration in New Zealand as a physiotherapist. Applicants must have clinical and administrative experience that would enable them to carry out the duties of Assistant Charge Physiotherapist in a busy general hospital. Salary will be in accordance with HS-17 for an Assistant Charge Physiotherapist in an institution with a staff in the department of more than 7, but less than 11. WAIKATO HOSPITAL BOARD WAIKATO HOSPITAL SENIOR ANALYST/ PROGRAMMER THE Division of Scientific Services at Waikato Hospital requires a Senior Analyst/ Programmer. The appointee will be responsible for helping hospital board staff to define their information processing requirements, suggesting design alternatives, evaluating software packages and In some cases implementing data processing procedures. The range of work is broad, from business systems with a medical element to more scientlflc/technical applications. We envisage the successful applicant will have a degree, majoring in computer science and 3 to 4 years experience in analysis and programming. The person will be self-motivated and show good interpersonal and analytical skills. SENIOR SCIENTIST The Division of Scientific Services at Waikato Hospital requires a Senior Scientist. The appointee will be responsible for a range of activities with respect to patient related equipment; planning for its purchase and installation, to advise on its use, assessment of function and maintenance. The Senior Scientist will deputise for the Chief Scientist. The successful applicant must be a graduate of a recognised university with major subjects in physics or electronics engineering or closely related subjects. Applicants should have qualifications above bachelors level and substantial experience in the application of physical science to medicine. Good Interpersonal skills and the ability to manage scientlflc/technlcal staff would also be an advantage.
