We envisage the successful applicant will have a degree, majoring in computer science and 3 to 4 years experience in analysis and programming. The appointee will be responsible for a range of activities with respect to patient related equipment; planning for its purchase and installation, to advise on its use, assessment of function and maintenance. The Senior Scientist will deputise for the Chief Scientist. The successful applicant must be a graduate of a recognised university with major subjects in physics or electronics engineering or closely related subjects. Applicants should have qualifications above bachelors level and substantial experience in the application of physical science to medicine.
