Trampoline teams
Two New Zealand trampoline teams have been named for international competitions in August and September. One team will compete in the Pan Pacific championships in Auckland and the other in the Trans Tasman Cup against Australia in Melbourne on September 7 and 8.
The Pan Pacific competition will be held in two segments. The open competition will be on August 17 and 18 and the age-group competition from August 22 to 24. Australia, Canada, the United States, Japan and Hong Kong are the other nations who will be represented in the Pan Pacific championships. The teams are:— Pan Pacific championships - Men — open — trampoline: Nicolas Donnelly (Canterbury), Vaughan Anderson (Nelson). (The pair will also compete in the synchronised and double mini-trampoline). Age-group trampoline — 18 years and over: Anderson. 15 to 17 years: Donnelly. 13 and 14 years: Jason Humphries (Auckland); Kirk Robinson (Canterbury). 11 and 12 years: Clark Eddington (Whangarei). 10 years and under: Stuart Holehouse (Auckland). Double mini-trampoline — 18 years and over: Anderson. 15 to 17 years: Dojielly.
13 and 14 years: Robinson. 10 years and under: Holehouse. Women — open — trampoline: Paula Asnbridge, Nicola Walker (Auckland); Suzi Nevell (Canterbury). Double mini trampoline: Ashbridge, Walker, Nevell, Joanne Barn (Auckland). Synchronised trampoline: Ashbridge and Walker
Age-group trampoline — 18 years and over: Ann Monahan (Otago). 15 to 17 years: Ashbridge, Walker, Nevell. 13 and 14 years: Barn. 11 and 12 years: Kirsten Glover (Gisborne); Michelle Attewell (Auckland). 10 years and under: Michelle and Lisa Bailey (Canterbury). Double mini trampoline — 18 years and over: Ashbridge, Walker, Nevell. 13 and 14 years: Barn, Julie-Ann Joyce, Kiri Middleton (Auckland). 11 and 12 years: Attewell, Leigh Mundy (Canterbury). 10 years and under: Alana Boulton (Auckland); Michelle Bailey, Andrea Stead (Canterbury). Trans Tasman team — Trampoline — men: Anderson, Donnelly, Robinson, Eddington, Holehouse. Women: Monahan, Walker, Barn, Glover, Michelle Bailey. Double mini trampoline — men: Anderson, Donnelly, Robinson, Holehouse. Women: Walker, Barn, Boulton.
