Dialling a surprise
PA Auckland Eager clients get a surprise when they telephone a certain Auckland escort agency number these days. The attractive voice of the woman who answers the telephone lets them know that they have just telephoned the Social Welfare Department.
Regional social work services of the department took over the number at Christmas.
“But dating is not one of the services v/e provide,” a staff member said. The branch also took over telephone lines from a car-pet-cleaning and a computer firm.
