Meat co. position
Mr Wayne Jackson was appointed general manager of Associated New Zealand Farmers Limited, on May 1. This company was established 10 years ago as a marketing consortium of the three farmer-owned freezing companies, Alliance Freezing Co. (Southland) Ltd, Auckland Farmers' Freezing Co-operative Ltd, and the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Meat Co Ltd. Its activities to date have been mainly in the United Kingdom where it has a subsidiary with a turnover of over $lOO million.
