Divisional Cavalry reunion

About 300 former members of the New Zealand Divisional Cavalry Regiment and their wives will attend a national reunion in Christchurch this week-end. The week-end’s activities will begin with a social evening tomorrow. On Saturday there will be an executive meeting, after which the reunion delegates will be free to attend the rugby test match at Lancaster Park in the afternoon before the reunion dinner and cabaret on Saturday evening. Sunday’s activities will begin with a church parade and end with a buffet tea. All the reunion activities will be held at the Brevet Club in Memorial Avenue. Guests at the reunion will be Mr Charles Upham, V.C. and Bar, and Captain A. G. Johnson, of New Zealand Scots 1 Squadron. The New Zealand Scots will provide the Colours guard for the reunion. Armoured display equipment will be provided by the Army.
