Pomps and accessories for industry and home use
When Pump Systems, Ltd, was formed late last year, the directors approached several companies throughout New Zealand wanting packages of pumping equipment which did not conflict in application or interest, but rather complemented each other.
The aim of the company was to be able to offer a complete range of pumping systems and accessories for every possible industrial and domestic need.
The company received much support from various firms and, in one instance, became responsible for the marketing of a complete range of equipment supplied by Andrews and Beaven, a Christchurch-based firm. A number of other New Zealand companies have also appointed Pump Systems as distributors of their pumps and accessories. Although Pump Systems specialises in the supply of industrial pumping equipment to general industry, freezing works, local bodies and Government departments, the range and application of equipment is wide. A new range of robust submersible sewage and effluent pumps available in five different versions for all types of application are
being sold by the company from their new warehouseshowrooms in Wordsworth Street, Sydenham. Other types available include a selection of endsuction centrifugal pumps, multi-stage vertical and horizontal water supply and boiler feed pumps, horizontal split-case pumps, selfpriming contractors’ pumps, submersible drainage pumps, metering pumps and air-operated diaphragm pumps. The accessories are an important part of the company’s operations.
Lines offered include a range of German air-cooled diesel engines, water filters, including self-cleaning filters, valves, pressure gauges and fittings. The company also designs, makes, installs, and commissions its own diesel and electric pumpsets, and provides a convenient aftersales service on its goods.
