T-bill rates steady
PA Wellington Interest rates at yesterday’s 530 million Treasury bill tender were little changed from those of last week. Successful yields on the 28-day bills were 19.45 to 20 per cent (last week, 19.49 to 20.24 per cent). Yesterday’s weighted average of successful bids was 19.948 per cent (last week, 19.843 per cent). Dealers bid 592 million for the 530 million worth of bills on offer yesterday. The range of unsuccessful yields was 20 to 22.25 per cent.
