Executions in Iran
Sir, — It was quite by chance that I saw tucked away on page 14 next to “Holiday Activities” (“The Press,” May '23, 1985) an article stating that more than 300 dissidents have been executed in Iran in the last few weeks. It even mentioned that charges against the latest victim were not specified. Dare I suggest that if this had happened in South Africa, the article would have made front page headlines? — Yours, etc., M. PETERS. May 26, 1985.
