This is a senior technical post in the N.Z. Hospital Service. Applications for this post should have a minimum of ten years’ experience covering all aspects of medical cytology, hold an additional qualification such as CT (lAC) and have a background and interest in training programmes for cytotechnologists. The Cytology Unit provides a comprehensive cytodiagnostic service, including FNA and cytochemical techniques, and the successful applicant would be expected to be competent in these areas of cytodiagnostic work. The Cytology Unit is headed by a Cytopathologist, to whom the appointee will be responsible, and is situated in a department with excellent working conditions.
