Catholic priests meet
The biggest order of Catholic priests in New Zealand is meeting in Christchurch this week.
The Society of Mary, which meets every four years, staffs eight secondary schools, 17 parishes, several chaplaincies, and mission stations in the Pacific, Asia and South America.
The meeting, being chaired by the recently elected Provincial, the Rev. Father Grahame Connolly, is the first held in the Society in the South Island.
