PA Hamilton The touring Australian under 17 rugby team turned on a superb display of mauling forward play and exciting running in the backs to crush the Waikato under 17 team, 39-4, at Te Awamutu yesterday. Australia led 14-4 at half-
time and in the second half seemed able to score at will against a demoralised Waikato team. Scorers: Australia under 17, 39 (E. West (2), J. Graf (2), A. Fulivai, R. Welsh, S. Foley tries. A. Monsen four conversions, penalty). Waikato under 17, 4 (A. Hall try).
