P. Johnson staying
PA Auckland The Takanini jockey, Peter Johnson, has turned down offers to ride in Brisbane this winter.
Johnson said he would rather continue his association at the Waikato meeting with Noel Eales’s stable, in particular with the fine mare Silver Elm. Johnson is booked for Silver Elm in the Noble Heights Stakes at Te Rapa on Saturday. He will also ride Under the Clock and Linden Row, others from Eales’s stable.
