The present salary for the position is in the range $18,153 to $23,600. The point, of entry will depend on the appointee’s experience and qualifications. COMPUTER OPERATOR/GENERAL CLERK This is a responsible position within the finance section of the Council’s staff, the vacancy having been created by internal promotion of the incumbent. Applicants will be expected to take sole charge of the Councils NCR computer including preparation of input data, entry, verification of output, system housekeeping and a range of associated clerical tasks. A salary commensurate with the appointee’s experience is payable in accordance with the appropriate Local Body Clerical Award.
