All Blacks ‘go as team’

PA Wellington The possibility of the All Blacks leaving for South Africa individually to avoid protests has been rejected by the chairman of the New Zealand Rugby Union, Mr Ces Blazey. Mr Blazey, speaking after

the release of the tour itinerary, said no travel arrangements had been made. “But I can say they will not go individually — they will go as a team,” he said. Mr Blazey declined to say whether there had been changes to the draft itinerary submitted by the South

African Rugby Board. “All I can say is we are quite happy with it. “It will be a hard tour,” he said. "Obviously if the reverse was the situation, and they were coming here they could not expect many of their 16 matches to be easy.”
