Edmonds returns
The Vistalite High School Old Boys, guard-forward, Hugh Thomson, has been deleted from the ConverseCanterbury Countrywide men’s basketball league team to play in the North Island this week-end. His place has been taken by the former New Zealand and Canterbury “swing” forward Dave Edmonds. Canterbury will play Übix
Palmerston North on Saturday evening and the league champions, Exchequer Saints, in Wellington on Sunday afternoon. Thomson will be included in the representative squad for home games. The Canterbury team is: Clyde Huntley (captain), Eddie McLeod, Andy Bennett, John Hill, lan Webb, Bert Knops, Edmonds, John Rademakers, lan Johnson and Kelvin Duff.
