A cartoon based on the famous Sea World, Florida, whale Shamu, has been produced to head a cast of similar characters promoting water safety to children. The characters will appear on television, radio and in newspapers throughout the United States, to help teach children water safety. Shamu will act as the official “spokesman” for the United States National Safety Council.
