PA Wellington The Haemophilia Society has asked the Accident Compensation Corporation if there is cover for people who contract A.I.D.S. or other diseases through blood transfusions.

The problem had concerned the society for some time, said the secretary, Mr Tony Goodwin. It was something society members had to live with until blood products could be guaranteed free of contamination.
