AND METHODS OF ELECTION NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER PUBLIC Notice Is given that at a meeting held on Friday, April 12, 1985 the Cheviot OCounty Council resolved in accordance with Section 56 of The Local Government Act 1974 as follows:1. That the name of that riding of the County at present known as “Township” Riding be changed to “Cheviot Township” Riding, but that no alteration be made to the name of any other Riding of the County. 2. That no alteration be made to the boundaries of the various Ridings of the County. 3. That no alteration be made to the number of Councillors on the Council, that number to remain at seven, being one member for each Riding. 4. That no change be made to the method of electing Councillors. Each Councillor as in the past to be elected by the electors of the appropriate Riding. 5. And that the above Resolution be submitted to a meeting of the Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Cheviot, Friday, May 10, 1985 at 1.30 p.m. for confirmation as a Special Order.
