China’s airline has $267M profit
NZPA-AP Peking China’s embattled Staterun airline, notorious for rude personnel, ticket shortages and running behind schedule, reaped a 317 million-yuan ($267.2 million) profit in 1984, the official Xinhua news agency reported. The profit realised by the
Civil Aviation Administration of China was 345 per cent more than 1980, Xinhua quoted the C.A.A.C. dirctor, General Shen Tu, as saying. C.A.A.C. has been criticised for dirty planes, delaying flights without explanation and having no computerised reservation service.
