Aquarparipe March stone of the month Aquamarine is a member of the same mineral family as Emerald and Morganite. They are all derivatives of fe] Beryl. Beryl crystals were once used in spectacles. The entire crystal was originally sold for $25,000. Aquamarine gets its name from its blue green colour . —x which closely resembles the colour of the sea. The 11 ancient Egyptians believed that Aquamarine became (ill-’ Sn invisible when placed in the sea.
