Rugby coaching film
PA Levin The New Zealand Rugby Union hopes to release a coaching film on proposed new law changes within three to four weeks, the chairman of the union’s coaching committee, Mr R. C. Stewart, said yesterday. Mr Stewart was in Levin to help make the film directed by Peter Coates. The 12-minute film —
featuring the Waiopehu and Horowhenua College first 15s and international referee, Mr Bob Francis, of the Wairarapa Bush union — will be shown on television and made available to unions in video form. Mr Stewart said it was essential for the new laws to be implemented as soon as they were approved by the International Rugby Board.
