Replacement Discs will cost ,50c on application to the Local Authority with whom the dog(s) was/were originally registered. Attention is drawn to the following new provisions of the Dog Control and Hydatids Act 1982 which deal with Change of Ownership, Transfer of dog(s) and age of dog(s) for registration. Where a dog is sold, destroyed or transferred from one Hydatids Control District to another, the owner of that dog must notify the Local Authority within 14 days of that change. Every person who owns a dog 3 months and over shall make application for Registration of the dog(s) to the Local Authority, in whose district the dog(s) is/are originally kept not later than April 1,1985, on the official registration form which lists the above and other important requirements under the New Act.
