Electric shock kills man

A man painting the roof of a two-storey house in Andover Street, Merivale, suffered a fatal electric shock yesterday morning. He was Geoffrey Findlayson Harding, aged 21, of O’Briens Road, Hornby. The accident happend

about 11.30 a.m. after Mr Harding apparently came into contact with live wiring. His body was removed from the roof by a Fire Service snorkel unit. Mr Harding apparently died instantly.
