More wheat
The International Wheat Council has estimated that last year’s world wheat production reached a record 515 million tonnes. The figure for last year’s harvest was three million tonnes more than the November estimate, and some 19 million tonnes (4 per cent) higher than in 1983, following increases in China and the United States. — London.
