St Albans Real Estate faces suspension
The Real Estate Agents’ Licensing Board in Auckland has been asked to cancel or suspend St Albans Real Estate’s licence. The application to cancel or suspend the licence had come from the CanterburyWestland branch of the Real Estate Institute, said the licensing board’s registrar, Mrs Jan Monck. The reasons for the application could not be made public now as a hearing would be held in Christchurch on February 17, Mrs Monck said. Advance publicity could prejudice the hearing’s outcome. Another Christchurch real estate firm, Leaders Real Estate, had its licence cancelled by the board last month. The firm has lodged an appeal against the decision with the High Court at Wellington. A date for the appeal would be set after the Court had received a transcript of Leaders’ hearing, Mrs Monck said.
