Aucklanders sail well
Auckland yachtsmen hinted that they could make the running in the national Paper Tiger (catamaran) championships by filling the first three -placings in the invitation race, sailed in a north-easterly wind of about 12 knots, on Lyttelton Harbour yesterday. The’ first of the scheduled seven races will begin today at 2 p.m. Roy Hughes, the skipper of Blew It, was first home in yesterday's race, followed by Terry’ Valder (Hitch HikeJ and Andy Knowles (SkyTrrain).
