G. Williams suspended
PA Hastings A Woodville jockey, Gary Williams, was suspended up to and including this Saturday, two riding days, after an" inquiry into the running of the Schweppes Classic Dry Handicap at yesterday’s Hawke’s Bay meeting. Williams, the rider of Super Tai, was charged with causing interference to Magnitude (Brian Hibberd) inside the last 200 m.
Super Tai was second past the post but relegated to fifth. Amberman was promoted to second. Tallboy to third and Magnitude to fourth.
