A.I.D.S. insurance
Insurance policies against the Acquired Immunity Deficiency Syndrome will be sold in California next month. The Coastal Insurance Company announced in Santa Monica it will advertise the policies in homosexual magazines. Premiums will total less than SUS2OO (about $415) a year. Policies will guarantee up to SUS7B,OOO (about $161,000) for medical care. Coastal expects to sell 30,000 policies in six months to Californians alone, said the firm’s vice-president, Jim Hotinger.—Los Angeles.
