Doll fakers blacklisted
NZPA-Reuter Taipei The Taiwan Toy Manufacturers Association says it has blacklisted 47 local companies for exporting fake Cabbage Patch dolls to the United States. An association spokesman said that the Taiwanese firms would be banned from exporting the dolls after charges of alleged trademark infringement brought by Original Appalachian Art Works of Cleveland, Georgia. He said that doll manufacturers in Hong Kong and South Korea had been accused of similar infringement by the American firm.
