Merida dies
Carlos Merida, one of Latin America’s best-known mural artists and a friend of Albert Einstein, Arthur Miller, and Duke Ellington, has died. He was 93. He attained fame in 1936 when Mexican muralism was at its zenith. — Mexico City.
