Sinai post announced

Wing Commander Tony Medcalf, of Auckland, has been appointed commander of the New Zealand contingent to the Multi-national Force and Observers in Sinai. He will succeed Wing Commander lan Brunton next month as commander of the 36 New Zealand servicemen who make up this country’s contribution to M.F.O.

As well as being contingent commander, Wing Commander Medcalf will serve in the headquarters of M.F.O. at El Gorah as staff assistant to the Chief of Staff.
