Wellington players are setting a hot pace in the President’s invitation croSt tournament at the Fenon club’s green. At the end of the second day’s play yesterday Paul Skinley was unbeaten with six wins, one more than his Wellington colleague, Geoff Roberts. A Canterbury player, Roger Murfitt, is well placed with four wins, one of his successes yesterday

being a one-point victory over the New Zealand captain and several times champion, John Prince (Hawke’s Bay).
