Talbot revives old names
Minx and Rapier, names once used by the British Rootes Group for its Hillman and Sunbeam models, have been revived by Talbot for special versions of its Solara and Alpine models, which have appeared for the first time at Britain’s Birmingham Motor Show. All versions are fitted with a li6-litre engine, fivespeed gearbox and powerassisted steering, the Rapier versions-being more luxuriously equipped than the Minx models. These cars come in four saloon and hatchback configurations.
