Blues show
A' revamped “Blues Brothers and Sisters Show” returns to the Gladstone Tavern for three consecutive evenings, starting tonight. The first part of the show, which features the female backing group, the Throaties, has some new songs, and the second part is more dance-oriented. The review now has 12 members on stage, including Stu Primer and Danny Wilson on saxes, John Lloyd, keyboards, and Simon Darke, vocals. The Throaties consist of Barbara Fox, Tralee Denegrie, Sally Davison, and Helen Mulholland, who is also part of Louie and the Hotsticks, the band around which the show is based.
Supporting the “Blues Brothers and Sisters Show” will be John Lloyd’s new band, “Rank Strangers.”
