All-night sitting predicted
Parliamentary reporter An all-night sitting of ' Parliament was predicted ■ for Budget night on Thursday by the Prime Minister, Mr Lange, yesterday. Mr Lange said that the 1 Government would bring in legislation immediately after the Budget and ex- - pected “at least an all-night session.”, “I would think that it ought to go well beyond there depending on such vigour as the Opposition has left,” he said. Radio broadcasts of Parliament would be extended for the sitting after the traditional cut-off time of 10.30 p.m., in line with Government policy.
