Wee Donna Dandy wins well
Wee Donna Dandy and Alvarez were impressive winners in the Classique Cottages New Zealand Championship semi-finals at Queen Elizabeth II Park yesterday. Gallant Man also made the final with a slashing second after being last down the back
straight. The final is to be run on Thursday evening, and others to make - the field include My Stella May, Wadderin Mist, Apache Hobbs, Galactic Gain and Noble Reprieve. The draw for the final is: 1 Wee Donna Dandy, 2
Noble Reprieve, 3 Alvarez, 4 Wadderrin Mist, 5 Gallant Man, 6 My Stella May, 7 Apache Hobbs, 8 Galactic Gain. Reserves: Billy Whizz, Chinook Lass. The Mirage Recordings performance of the day went to Delaware May, an impressive C2 winner.
