Results of lower grade matches played by the Canterbury Women’s Cricket Association on Saturday were: Senior B Lancaster Park 161/6 dec. beat Riccarton 39 (C. Agent 3/ 14, B. Carr 3/8) and 19. Hornby 77 and 60 (P. Tuitaupe 3/18, N. Thompson 5/13) lost to East-Shirley 134/8 dec. and 8/2. St Albans 129 and 108/7 (L. Burtt 41; I. Beijen 5/14) beat Merivale-Papanui 96 (A. Bremner 30; H. McKnight 5/11) and 71 (I. Beijen 33). Second grade Lancaster Park 90 (L. Mor-, ice 31, G. Andrews 26; B. Rutledge 3/23, K. Pollard 3/17, C. Hall 3/8 lost to Bumside High School 100/6JC. Moher 60 not out).
High School Old Boys 29/6 (N. Gibbs 30; E. Brown 3/15) beat Riccarton 44 (N. Gibbs 3/
3, J. Corcoran 3/10). Sydenham 134/2 (M. Lewis 81 not out, R. Pepper 23 not out) beat East Shirley 130 (V. Sinclair 30; D. Heenan 4/40, R. Pepper 3/20, M. Lewis 3/25). New Brighton 167/6 (M. Fitchett 68 not out, S. Day 27, J. Liddy 23) beat Hornby High School 163/6 (C. Turner 31, K. LeComber 76 not out). Harewood 69 (Clark 3/21, Griffin 3/11) beat Hornby 62 (T. Bond 4/5, C. Case 3/14). St Albans beat Bumside by default.
Third grade Marist 65 (M. Gilmour 33; M. Octgen 24/4, E. Lobb 14/4) beat Heathcote 9 P. Wooden 3/ 4, J. Quinn 4/1) and 48/8 (Quinn 4/17).. Lancaster Park 43 (V. Miller 4/11, W. Mellish 3/9) lost to St Albans 44/3 (V. Miller 32). St Albans C defeated Riccarton B by default.
