Two experienced Canterbury cricketers, Sue Brown and Marg Francis, are not available for representative fixtures this season, for personal reasons. Brown has been the key figure in the Canterbury bowling attack for many years and Francis has been the regular wicketkeeper.
Returning to the representative squad is Vicki Burtt, a former international who was not available last season, and Jan
