LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER IN LINGUISTICS -P.091003/85 The Department of Language and Literature has a vacancy to its Linguistics Section. The successful applicant should have post-graduate qualifications In Linguistics; teaching and/or research experience in Papua New Guinea or the Pacific region would be a decided advantage. He or she will be expected to teach a range of courses to descriptive linguistics and/or sociolinguistics at the undergraduate level, and may also be Involved in teaching external students. LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER IN POLITICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE STUDIES —P.1410C6/85 A vacancy exists (to the Department of Political and Administrative Studies) at Lecturer/Senlor lecturer level for an appropriately qualified person to teach South East Aslan Politics, preferably with research and teaching interest to Indonesia (and/or willingness to develop teaching and research In this area). The Department is also interested in candidates who would also be able to teach in one or more of the following areas: —Political Economy. —Development Administration. —Public Policy.
