Fort to pay $2.44 a lamb

Fort Export, Ltd, has announced a payment for 1983-84 season suppliers of $2.44 a lamb. The payment comprises a profit of $1.20 a head .’above schedule for wool and skins and a marketing profit allocation of $1.24. ." Fort will also make a wool and skin payout of 60c a head for mutton.

The company was now one of the four main suppliers of further processed consumer cuts to the European market, he said.
