Mr Lawrie Walker has now been appointed the general manager of Bestobell New Zealand, Ltd, following the merger of his company, L. T. Walker Equipment, Ltd, with Bestobell. L. T. Walker Equipment is a mining and construction equipment importing company with an extensive range of agencies and will continue to retain its own identity as a division of Bestobell. Mining equipment is an area in which Bestobell is involved in other countries and its activities in New Zealand include the manufacture and distribution of solenoid valves, controls, expansion joints and pipeline equipment through branches at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Invercargill.
