Marlon and Our Jetty give Woodville a strong hand in the White Horse Handicap at Hastings tomorrow and they looked bright at Woodville yesterday. Fast work took place on the plough, which was in good order. Marlon and Mokara Lass went 1000 m in 1:6.6, the last 600 m in 38.95. This was not a very fast time, but Marlon is ready to sprint well fresh tomorrow. Our Jetty had Belmore as a companion over 1000 m in a smart 1:2.2, the last 600 m in 36.55. This time was bettered only by Burnemoff and He’s Right, which impressed over 1000 m in 1:2.0, the 600 m in 36.55.
