Pupil wins French competition
A pupil of St Margaret’s College has won the gold medal in the Christchurch Alliance Francaise competition. Felicity Ward will now compete in the national French-speaking competition; to be held later this month. She has forwarded a tape for the competition. The winner of the national competition will spend. a month in Paris. Miss Ward did not win the trip after the Christchurch competition, as reported in “The Press” last week. ' The trip winner will be announced in late November.
