Climbers safe

Two men overdue on a climbing trip in the Lake Heron area were found safe and well by a search party yesterday morning. David Morgan, of Glentunnel, spent a cold night on Jagged Col and walked out of the bush to be met by searchers about 11.10 a.m. His companion, Hamish McKay, of Darfield, was found at the Cameron Hut about 8 a.m. Both men had had a slight fall but neither was injured.
