Moon-time crime

. If you have noticed burglars baying at the moon or the local thugs more active during a full moon, you may be pleased to note that Australian police have spotted the phenomenon too. According to a recent report, the Sydney police believe in a strong link between crime and lunar activity, and a Victoria police
sergeant said it was a commonly held belief among police and other emergency workers that things livened up on nights when the moon was most vivid. The sergeant was commenting on a report in the latest issue of the state police magazine, “Police Life,” which contains a rundown on studies suggesting thath police are busier on nisrts with a full moon.
