Riccarton Knitwit News DEAR KNITWITS, Isn’t it a busy time of the year, planning and completing the family’s summer sewing. If you are short of some new ideas — pop into Knitwit and we can change that for you. Ail our fabrics have been co-ordinated throughout so one can easily mix and match. Mesh is popular for that added trim and we stock three varieties. The ginger snaps — complete on tape — have arrived and, at $6.99 per metre, are ideal for that fancy trim on t-shirts, etc. Have you thought of using knitted collars? We have all the colours at only $2.50 each. A reliable sewing machine is a must. Ahn is happy to demonstrate any of our superb PFAFF models. These machines are so easy to use and cope perfectly with any sort of fabric. The CREATIVE is on special at the moment — how about treating yourself to an early Christmas gift, as the $2OO you will save can be used on other members of the family. Our final series of Basic 8 Sewing Lessons for 1984 commences on Monday or Tuesday, October 29 or 30. We have morning and evening classes available, so why not give your friend a call and come along together. Share the fun of learning to sew a completely new method. Don't forget our Elvera workshops, where you can be colour co-ordi- z nated, commence the final week of October.
