Three drivers suspended
PA Dunedin Two horses were disqualified from dividend bearing places and two drivers each suspended three days after the McCone Pace, the second leg of the T.A.B. double at the Oamaru Trotting Club’s meeting on Saturday. Royal Fella was disqualified from third place after his driver, Kevin Townley, was found to have caused Sure Fire to tangle at the 600 m. Townley was suspended until October 29. Knowing Chance was promoted from fourth to third and he, too, was disqualified on the grounds of interference to Donore and Maniapoto after 200 m. His driver, Stuart Allcock, was suspended until October 30. G. Ryder, the driver of Proud News, was suspended until November 6 for causing interference to SpLnstar after 200 m in the Wrigptson Pace. o
