Rangiora show aided by good weather

Good weather helped to make this year’s Northern Agricultural and Pastoral Show at Rangiora on Saturday highly successful. The president of the show, Mr L. Ward, said he thought the attendance was similar to last year’s, and the weather had helped. Mr Ward said entries in' nearly all sections were up on last year. Side-shows and stalls run by local community groups were a popular attraction. The grand parade was a feature of the afternoon.
