Husband fined
A jealous husband, aged 60, who tape-recorded his wife’s telephone calls with her lover was fined 1000 marks (?660) for “breach of privacy” by a court in Nuremburg. He became suspicious after his wife, aged 50, returned from a health cure, and he installed a tape-recorder under the bed in their home. His wife discovered it and brought a legal action against him. She is also suing for divorce. Her lover was revealed as a Viennese policeman, 10 years younger than her husband. — Nuremburg.
